The wheels are spinning positively for the Singapore furniture industry, with this year's International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS) the most upbeat for ages, ticking over an impressive US 240 million dollar in estimated spot sales during the firstfive days of March. IT HAS TAKEN MORE THAN 20 years and a lot of government and industry money, but 2007 confirmed that IFFS is the best quality international furniture show in ASEAN and Oceania. For the first time, organisers had to turn exhibitors away for lack of space. And with two countries asking for a hall each for 2008, a seventh hall will be added.
