摘要

Biodegradable poly(butylene succinate-co-terephthalate) (PBST) fibers were prepared by the melt-spinning method. Their tensile properties and viscoelastic behavior including relaxation and creep were investigated. For comparison, poly(butylene terephthlate) (PBT) fibers were selected as a reference sample. The experimental results showed that PBST fibers possessed better structure stability than PBT fibers possibly due to their differences in chemical structure and crystal transformation under tension. Subsequently, a model for analyzing the viscoelastic behavior of PBST fibers was proposed. The results showed the prediction agreed well with the experimental data.
