Last year I paid tribute to the late and great Murray River warrior, Henry Jones. However, I feel my accolades were too late: the time to praise a worthy man is while he is still with us.This April I met up with another industry champion, who has been a friend and powerful colleague for many years. We argued often and debated strongly on many occasions. We sat side by side on various board room tables, industry conferences and forums for over 35 years and although we didn't always agree on key points, I am certain that Maurice Corigliano's passion and commitment to the prawn fishery in Saint Vincent's Gulf was absolute and unwavering.
