Chirality Transfer from Single Molecules into Self-Assembled Monolayers

Self-organization of chiral molecules into helical architectures is of fundamental importance in nature.~[1] In addition,interest in the transfer of chirality from single molecules into mesoscopic chiral ensemble is based on its application in liquid-crystal (LC) technologies.~[2] The mechanism of chirality inductionm,that is,the process in which the molecular chirality ismapped onto a supramolecular ensemble,however,is still unclear.
