Comment on Asmerom et al.: Hominin expansion into Central Asia during the last interglacial

Asmerom et al. (2018) recently obtained U-series dates for the Obi-Rakhmat Grotto, a key Paleolithic site in Central Asia, with ages of up to ca. 107-109 ka. However, their paper contains numerous errors and inconsistencies which affect the conclusions, and they are discussed. (C) 2018 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
