摘要

Development of non-viral gene delivery vectors for trans-fecting mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) will advance tissue engineering and regenerative medicine to treat several health disparities associated with the heart, brain, spinal cord, bone, and blood vessels. In the last decade, there has been remarkable progress in regenerative medicine using stem cells for therapeutic applications. However, to use these cells more effectively, enabling them to express functional proteins is crucial for rapid formation and repair of tissues and organs.
