This is my final editorial for the Journal; my time as Medical Officer in Charge at the Institute of Naval Medicine (INM) is coming to an end after four years, and I am now completing the handover of the JRNMS to the very capable hands of Surgeon Captain Jason Smith, who is with immediate effect the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, having co-edited this edition.
