A good concept gets even better in this latest model Arvor 20. The walk-through stern certainly improves the user-friendly aspect of the craft and is a great boon for cruising, or swimming. Amazingly the builders have managed to cap the price of the Arvor so this boat is even better value than when it was first launched. Generally you pay a premium for diesel-powered boats, however the Arvor 20 doesn't seem to penalise you for being that responsible. Maybe this will encourage even more folks to try the 'bateau la difference' as fuel prices rise and people get nervous about the cost of running a boat. A number of Arvor 20s have gone to self-drive charter fleets and no doubt they suit this market to a tee. The Arvor should also adapt well to make inshore/coastal fishing rig particularly with its live-bait tank and in-floor 'floodable' kill tank. Indeed the boat's commercial fishing heritage is quite evident with steel line rollers on each side of the cockpit. No doubt, commercial fishos will find some serious use for these rollers than amateur fishos. We didn't look at the trailing aspect this time around, but Peter assures me a custom-matched trailer is available for an extra 5,320 dollar. Meanwhile, a complete offshore safety kit will add another844 dollar to the price.
