Courant problem on the decoupling of the systems of quasi-linear partial differential equations

The Courant problem on the decoupling of a quasi-linear system of partial differential equations into k noninteracting subsystems is resolved for the case of several spatial variables x(1), ..., x(d). Necessary conditions for the decoupling are derived.
