Climate Change Liability: Transnational Law and Practice

摘要

There is increasing recognition that climate change is a major culprit behind an anticipated environmental crisis. It is not surprising that the anthropogenic contribution to climate conditions can potentially become the centre of environmental liability disputes over harm to individuals, habitats and entire islands. The editors of this volume are right in saying that climate change is 'multifaceted' as it poses numerous challenges to the social, economic, cultural, scientific and legal aspects of our lives.
