Experiment were carried out on dwarfing by of stem cutting, branch downing and bud removal otCarya cathayensis in Chun'an, Zhejiang province. Results showed that different dwarfing techniques could control height growth, enlarge crown, increase bearing branches and earlier bearing age. Height growth reduced 46.2%, crown enlarged 13.8%, bearing branches increased by 5.7 times, bearing trees increased by 1.7 times and yield of fruits raised 15 times, compared with that of the control 3 years later of the experiment.%采用截干、拉技、抹芽等措施对未投产山核核(Carya cathayensis)树体进行矮化试验,结果表明:矮化技术措施实施后,控制了树高生长,增大了树体冠幅,增加了结果短枝的数量和结果树比例,从而提高了产量；实施第3年与对照相比,存在着显著差异,树高降低了46.2％,冠幅增加了13.8％,结果短枝数量增加5.7倍,结果树比例增加1.7倍,产量提高了15倍.
