宋官箴书所见胥吏形象成因探析

摘要

The paper analyzes the lousy images of petty officials from official exhortations in the Song dynasty including taking bribery, extortion of money from civilians, intervention of county affairs, insult of chiefs and maltreatment of prisoners. The formation of such images is as follows: pretty officials take corruptions through misuse of law to maintain their livelihood; the unequal relationship between petty officials and county magistrates leads to county magistrates’ taking advantage and slandering of petty officials and chiefly the negative images result from county magistrates’ deep-rooted defensive mentality.%宋代官箴书中的胥吏形象十分不堪，大体有以下几个方面：收受贿赂、强索民财、左右县务、侵侮长官、践踏犯人。胥吏为维持生计而贪赃枉法；官员、胥吏关系的不对等导致官员对胥吏既利用又中伤；官员对胥吏根深蒂固的防范心态是导致以上胥吏的反面形象的主要原因。
