汉英吃喝类动词的民族文化差异——以《HSK大纲》中的16个吃喝类动词为例

         

摘要

《汉语水平词汇与汉字等级大纲》是当今对外汉语教学最权威的规范性大纲。其中常用的吃喝类动词与其相对应的英语动词在理性意义具有较大的一致性;但由于人类不同民族特定的生态环境和不同的历史文化背景等,导致两者在词汇的基本意义上又分别衍生出各自不同的、具有浓郁民族文化特色的文化意义。汉英吃喝类动词所具有的这些纷繁复杂的民族文化差异,正是我们在对外汉语词汇教学中应该特别重视的。%The Outline of HSK Vocabulary and Characters is the most authoritative standardization in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Comparing the conceptual meaning between the verbs of the chi and he group and the relevant English verbs, there is a consistency in some degree. However, because of different natural environment, mode of thinking and values as well as customs, cultural connotations be- tween these Chinese verbs and English verbs are of their own cultural characteristics. Cultural difference of the chi and he group verbs between Chinese words and English words is one of the most important factors which need to be paid more attention to in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
