Estimation of rock stress around cavern by CCBO and AE method

摘要

For the purpose of evaluation of the excavation disturbed zone and the examination of the stability of the cavern during excavation of the cavern, authors performed stress measurement and AE monitoring of rock around the cavern. The applied stress measuring technique is the CCBO method. For the purpose of setting up the judgment index of rock condition, the laboratory test using the rock core was carried out before the on-site AE monitoring. In this paper, authors describe the process of stress change and the feature of EDZ during excavation of cavern.
