Knowledge Sharing in High Technology Companies

摘要

This paper reports on the results of studying thernapplicability of a model for Shared Knowledge Creationrn(SKC). The model is based upon a previous pilot studyrnand was tested in a New Product Development (NPD)rnsetting involving four projects in two high technologyrncompanies located in the Nordic countries. In particular,rnfour factors presented in the model were explored: (1) thernSKC process; (2) IT infrastructure in support of thernprocess; (3) catalysts; and (4) organizational issues andrnSKC. Implications are drawn for practice and for futurernresearch.
