摘要

The findings of this study suggest that combined endocrine dental pathology is accompanied by disbalance in the development of local humoral immune system protection and reduction of capacity of the antioxidant system of oral fluid (OF). There was significant decrease of the content of interleukins (2, 4, 10) to 20.9-83.2%, and increase of interleukin 8 by 43.9%, reflecting the existence of a deep disadaptation in nonspecific defense system at the local level, and therefore, a significant decrease in resistance to periodontal microbial aggression it is result of increasing level of glucose secretion in the oral cavity in decompensated diabetes and decreasing level of glutathione (32.1%) in the OF so it is a adverse prognostic factor.
