Neptune - an integrated UML toolset and methodology

UML (Unified modelling Language) defines a standard notation for object-oriented systems and was officially adopted by the OMG (Object Management Group) in 1997 (http://www.rational.com/uml). Since then it has rapidly gained wide acceptance throughout the object-technology community. It is now the de-facto standard graphical language for specifying constructing visualising and documenting software-intensive systems (Booch, 99). Some extensions to the original standard have also been proposed and implemented for Business modelling.
