In_2S_3 quantum dot coated ZnO nanorod arrays have been synthesized via two step method. ZnO nanorod arrays were prepared by a facile and low-cost hydrothermal process, and In2S3 were deposited on the nanorods by a successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction technique. The structure, morphology, and optical properties of the In_2S_3/ZnO nanorod arrays are investigated. The photoelectorchemical measurements showed that the In_2S_3/ZnO nanorod arrays offered enhanced photocurrent density. Electrochemical impedance was also investigated in detail.
