Research on features extraction of partial discharge pattern with fractal theory

摘要

While partial discharge (PD0 pattern recognition is widely considered as an important mehtod to test insulation degradation, the major problem encountered in recognition is to extract PD pattern features. This paper adopted fractal theory to extract features of PD statistic spectrum. From designed model tests and fraction calculation results, it is shown the method in this paper is effective to extract PD pattern features which are helpful in PD pattern recognition on the base of the three dimension statistic spectrum.
