The invention relates to a device for detecting a partial discharge from high-voltage gas-insulated equipment, the device being attached, outside the high-voltage equipment, onto a surface of an electrically-insulating part (1) that retains a high-voltage bar inside the high-voltage equipment, said surface defining, at the surface of the high-voltage equipment, a rotationally symmetrical cylinder, characterized in that it includes: an electrically conductive strip (2) attached onto a surface of a strip (6) of electrically insulating material, the electrically conductive strip being wound so as to only contact all or part of said surface; and an electrical-shielding (5) part attached onto the high-voltage equipment and positioned above the strip (6) of electrically insulating material.
