The Application of SKI Series Xylene Isomerization Catalysts

To keep pace with the requirement of polyester as synthetic fiber and plasticizer for polymers, the increasing demand of para- and ortho-xylene can only be satisfied by isomerization of isomers mixture of para-, meta-, ortho-xylene and ethylbenzene. Thus the development of isomerization process and catalyst are of great importance. Since 1970's, RIPP has developed a series SKI catalysts with its high activity, selectivity and stability and without environmental pollution problem. All xylene isomerization units in China have adopted this catalysts to replace the old ones and shown significant advantages.
