    • 摘要: Fundamentally, technology is the key to achieving a competitive advantage. Novel and advanced technologies and manufacturing systems have turned the attention of labour-intensive firms towards technological attractiveness. In the textile industry, advancements in technology and products are massive. The study sought to assess the extent to which managers of Small and Medium Textile Enterprises (STMEs) are taking advantage of the technology available in textile designing, production and marketing space, as there is a growing interest worldwide to boost the innovative activity of enterprises, especially technological innovation. The study is quantitative research. A multi-stage sampling procedure involving convenient, purposive and stratified sampling techniques was employed in this study. A sample size of 300 was drawn from the 80 SMTEs. The study discovered that most of the textile enterprises in Ghana mostly use computer-generated designs, manual screen printing and digital embroidery technologies in their production. The study also established that SMTEs continually resort to traditional advertising techniques rather than contemporary marketing and advertising mediums for marketing their products. In view of this, SMTEs should seek more knowledge regarding innovative contemporary marketing strategies to increase patronage.

    • 摘要: 随着工业控制、车载网络等实时业务流开始向以太网迁移,网络设备需要提供低时延低抖动的QoS保障机制。传统网络采用分布式控制,QoS保障机制的引入,会增加转发设备复杂度,同时也面临可扩展性问题。软件定义网络SDN通过将控制与转发分离,极大的增加了网络灵活性和可扩展性。本文基于SDN架构,通过在控制层将带宽资源量化为时隙,实现带宽资源的预分配;通过在转发层按时隙进行整形调度,避免了多条数据流同时到达中间转发节点产生的网络拥塞排队;通过从时间维度划分双通道传输,采用主动队列管理算法,隔离了普通通道对QoS通道的影响。本文充分利用SDN集中控制优势,设计了基于SDN的网络传输QoS机制,可为普通业务流与实时业务流等网络数据流传输QoS机制设计提供支持。

    • 摘要: This paper presents a detailed review of the applications of augmented reality(AR)in three important fields where AR use is currently increasing.The objective of this study is to highlight how AR improves and enhances the user experience in entertainment,medicine,and retail.The authors briefly introduce the topic of AR and discuss its differences from virtual reality.They also explain the software and hardware technologies required for implementing an AR system and the different types of displays required for enhancing the user experience.The growth of AR in markets is also briefly discussed.In the three sections of the paper,the applications of AR are discussed.The use of AR in multiplayer gaming,computer games,broadcasting,and multimedia videos,as an aspect of entertainment and gaming is highlighted.AR in medicine involves the use of AR in medical healing,medical training,medical teaching,surgery,and post-medical treatment.AR in retail was discussed in terms of its uses in advertisement,marketing,fashion retail,and online shopping.The authors concluded the paper by detailing the future use of AR and its advantages and disadvantages in the current scenario.

    • 摘要: This article explores four critical groups of systematic risk embedded in smart contract employment using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The four principal risk analysis groups include: 1) transparency in the light of corporate governance 2) IT security 3) contract management automation and 4) legality. The AHP assists both decision-makers and stakeholders alike in the evaluation process essential for identifying potential technological constraints posed within a permissioned blockchain environment using peer-to-peer format in the absence of digital currency. Based upon critical assessment, the AHP methodology enables pairwise comparisons among different features and consequently increases the knowledge regarding these attributes in light of the software’s risk assessment.

    • 摘要: Ecotourism is a sustainable, green and smokeless industry of the society by providing alternative source to the livelihood and local community, in order to re-naturalize the environment to bring the man closer to the natural environment. The use of web application has changed the way tourists gather information about tourist attraction spots of the research area. The aim of the study is to assess and identify ecotourism attraction sites of Chokie Mountain watersheds for touristic activities to develop a web-based GIS mapping portal for the improvement of nature-based ecotourism activities. The web-based GIS portal for Web Mapping Application is available for the user with the skills necessary to create standard web mapping services. We have implemented web mapping services based on formal cartographic visualization rules in the open source QGIS software and threejs JavaScript plugin. Threejs plugin is used for 3D visualization, interaction and export terrain data, map canvas image and vector data to HTML page and JS. The result of web-based GIS portal supports spatial and non-spatial database of tourist attraction and tourist service data with attractive user interface.
