Bridge with piers bearing successive bridge-deck elements

Bridge composed of piers (1) made from masonry, particularly made from concrete, carrying, via their horizontal upper surface, successive bridge-deck elements (10A, 10B). Horizontal metal plates (17), which interact with vertical stabilisation tie rods (22) which are anchored or fastened on the top of the pier, are provided in the lower surface of these bridge-deck elements. The stabilisation tie rods are preferably arranged between the axis (AA) of the pier and bearing plates (7, 8, 9) interposed between the end of the bridge-deck element and the top of the pier.
