Character recognition study manner, and character recognition device

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve character recognition by inputting a recognition objective character along with different characters in spite of equipped with the same attribute with this recognition objective character while reducing its input strength less than the recognition objective character. CONSTITUTION:The character recognizing device is composed of an input means 1 inputting the character for recognition object and study object, a feature extraction means 2 extracting the feature of the inputted character, a unit group 3 composed of units to be activated according to the value of a weighted coefficient, an activating discrimination means 4 discriminating the activated unit, a study completion judgement means 5 judging whether the study of the unit reaches a prescribed level or not, and an output means 6 outputting the recognition result of the character. The recognition objective character along with the different character equipped with the same attribute with this recognition objective character are inputted while reducing the input strength less than the above-mentioned recognition objective character by the input means 1 when changing the weighed coefficient with the study. Thus, the recognition can be improved.
