PURPOSE: To provide a reaping device designed to conduct digging and pulling operations in sequence. ;CONSTITUTION: The left and right resistance part of a culture levee wall such as for deep-rooted Welsh onion 7 is displaced by a relevant means 13 along with providing a drilling edge 10 to cut the hairy root of such Welsh onion. In digging the deep-rooted Welsh onion, the upper layer part of the onion is prevented from falling down by a pair of holding materials 8 longitudinally parallel with each other followed by holding the onion with a pair of holding belts, and the onion is pulled off the soil while rising, and thus harvested.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
