The sensor (32) detects a virtual output temperature, which differs from the actual temperature. An initial temperature at the start of a cooling process is determined and used to determine a system-specific correction value. A temperature set-value and/or the determined actual temperature value are corrected by the correction value and used for temperature regulation. Independent claims are included for a regulating device, and for an air-conditioning apparatus.
