A SECURE ROUTING SCHEME FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS WITH A MOBILE SINK

A secure routing scheme of a wireless sensor network having a mobile sink is provided to guarantee integrity and confidentiality by encoding a response message through a private key of a source and a sink and transmitting the encoded response message with an MAC value. A secure routing scheme of a wireless sensor network having a mobile sink includes the steps of: forming a bidirectional hash-chain previously at a sink; encoding the bidirectional hash-chain value transmitted to nodes of a path, an adjacent node which transfers a message, and a time stamp through a private key of the corresponding node; transmitting the encoded message to an access point with an MAC value; recognizing the bidirectional hash-chain value, and the adjacent nodes to be transmitted by decoding the transmitted message; transmitting the remaining part and the MAC value to next transmission node; and acquiring the hash-chain value and checking a request by reading the message through the private key.
