The extractor has a light source e.g. LED, oriented towards interior of a transparent sheet that is made of Planilux(RTM: multi-purpose clear glass) or plastic material. The sheet has a face with a textured part comprising repetition of relief patterns with a step (p), width (w) and height (h). The part satisfies relations such as step greater than or equal to 250 nanometers (nm) and less than or equal to 500 nm. Ratio between width and step is greater than/equal to 0.4 and less than/equal to 0.6. Ratio between height and width is greater than/equal to 0.5 and less than/equal to 2. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of fabricating a device comprising a transparent sheet (2) a method of extracting wave length emitted by a light source.
