The system has a trolley (5) and a goods carrier detachably connected with one another by a coupling (65). The trolley and the goods carrier are provided with a chassis (7), which exhibits wheels (45, 47) for moving on a track. The chassis of the trolley has a front and rear chassis parts (67, 69) provided with wheels. The front and rear chassis parts are connected over a trolley clamp (15) in a manner such that the goods carrier is insertable between front and rear chassis parts to both sides. The wheels of the front and the rear chassis part are coupled with one another synchronously.
