Method of restoration of degraded permeability of porous rock, comprises passing the rock by circulating at least one aqueous solution containing associative polymers; and treating the rock by injecting the aqueous solution of at least one surfactant in a determined concentration to remove the hydrophobic bonds between associative polymer chains.
