PURPOSE: Cavitation erosion test method and device using an inclined propeller dynamometer and a propeller model are provided to enable cavitation erosion to occur on specimen attached or coated to the propeller model and to enable the level of the erosion to be evaluated.;CONSTITUTION: A cavitation erosion test method using an inclined propeller dynamometer(2) and a propeller model(3) is as follows. A specimen-coated propeller model is mounted on the inclined propeller dynamometer, and a cavitation erosion test is performed in a cavitation tunnel(1). After the test, quantitative comparison/analysis is made by the measuring of the area and the depth of a hole on the surface of the propeller model using a 3D surface measuring technique. Specimen is coated on the propeller model. The inclined propeller dynamometer and the propeller model are mounted on the cavitation tunnel, and an erosion test condition is made.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
