PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion prevention member capable of yielding a protective current stable over a long period of time and capable of securely preventing corrosion of steel materials inside concrete, and a method for electrochemical corrosion prevention using the same.;SOLUTION: In a method for corrosion prevention of steel materials, a sacrificial anode material is installed in the concrete, and the steel materials inside the concrete are electrically connected to the sacrificial anode material, provided that a metal composing the sacrificial anode material is a blister-like metal. The corrosion prevention member for steel materials includes the blister-like metal and a porous material containing an electrolyte solution disposed around the blister-like metal, provided that the electrolyte solution has a pH suitable for avoiding establishment of passive state on a surface of the blister-like metal. The blister-like metal is a pseudo-alloy containing at least one element chosen from the group consisting of zinc, aluminum and magnesium. The blister-like metal is formed through a spraying method. In the method for electrochemical corrosion prevention, the corrosion prevention member is installed in the concrete.
