The present invention relates to a biomarker composition for the diagnosis of vancomycin resistance of Staphylococcus aureus and a diagnostic kit using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a gene cluster showing a difference in gene expression due to vancomycin resistance induction in Staphylococcus aureus To a vancomycin resistance diagnostic biomarker composition containing the gene group thus secured, and a diagnostic kit using the same. The present invention also provides a method for determining vancomycin resistance of Staphylococcus aureus.
