Relates to a process for making a textile composite especially for outdoor applications, comprising at least one layer (2) of polymer nanofibres deposited on the textile support layer (3), in which a textile carrier layer (3) after the deposit layer (2) of polymer nanofibres, and link the binder, from the opposite side than the deposited layer (2) of polymer nanofibres, deposited plasma spraying at least one hydrophobic agent in the liquid or plastic state. The invention further also relates to a textile composite (1), especially for outdoor applications, which comprises a layer (2) of polymer nanofibres deposited on a support fabric layer (3) prepared in this manner.
