The present invention relates to a method for producing a textile composite, particularly for outdoor applications, which contains at least one layer (2) of polymer nanofibres deposited on a textile support layer (3), in which the textile support layer (3) is deposited upon placement the layer (2) of polymeric nanofibres, and bonding them with a binder, from the opposite side to the deposited layer (2) of the polymer nanofibers, is applied by plasma spray at least one hydrophobic agent in liquid or plastic state. The invention also relates to a textile composite (1), in particular for outdoor applications, which comprises a layer (2) of polymeric nanofibres deposited on a textile support layer (3) prepared in this way.
