PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum entanglement generation method capable of easily adjusting an optical path length and capable of easily controlling the entering timing light quantum into a Bell analyzer.;SOLUTION: The quantum entanglement generation method uses an item constituting an asymmetric five-level lambda system including: a ground state; two degenerate metastable states; and two degenerated excited states. The item constituting an asymmetric five-level lambda system is excited from the ground state. When a Raman transition has occurred to transit to one metastable state in the two metastable state, the generated Stokes photon becomes one polarization state.
