To provide a high-precision map generation method, a high-precision map generation device, computer equipment, a non-transient computer-readable memory medium, and a computer program product.SOLUTION: A high-precision map generation method includes: a step 101 of acquiring a local high-density map of an automatic driving vehicle; a step 102 of acquiring a destination of the automatic driving vehicle; a step 103 of determining, based upon the destination and the local high-precision map, whether a high-precision map corresponding to a forward road section is available; and a step 104 of prompting, when there is no corresponding high-precision map available, a driver to make change to a manual driving mode, and gathering, after entering the forward road section, map information with a radar and a camera of the automatic driving vehicle so as to generate a high-precision map. Consequently, an in-use region of the high-precision map is enlarged and safety of an automobile travel is improved, which is further advantageous in making automatic driving vehicles popular and improving city traffic conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
