The invention relates to medicine, in particular to gastroenterology, hepatology.The method consists in that, fasting (on an empty stomach) venous blood sampling is carried out in a patient with chronic HBV viral hepatitis or chronic HBV etiology infection with minimal activity, after which load test using medicines is carried out by oral administration of 50 g of glucose, dissolved in warm water and 0.5 g of aminophylline, followed by dynamic blood sampling for 60 and 120 min, followed by a biochemical study of blood serum, consisting of determining the concentration of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase followed by analysis of obtained data.
