Each year the Office of Information Management and Statistics publishes the 'Geographic Distribution of VA Expenditures in order to provide interested parties with estimates of the VA's expenditure activity. The expenditures are shown for world, U.S., state, county, and congressional district designations. Additionally, a number of graphic presentations are included as convenient reference documents. Users of the publication are reminded that the information presented here represents the VA's best estimates of expenditure activity and should not be construed as accounting documentation. The data categories discussed in the document include: Compensation and pension and readjustment benefits and vocational rehabilitation, Insurance and indemnities, Direct loans, Construction and related costs, Medical Services and Administrative Costs, Congressional Districts.
