In this paper we present a detail theoretical analysis of effects of phase mismatch and losses on phonon squeezing and quantum nondemolition measurements in the detection of hypersonic phonon by squeezed light. The analysis reported here extends our previous calculation for perfect phase matching and no losses cases, and shows that squeezing and quantum nondemolition measurements of quadrature of phonon mode can be realized for smaller phase mismatch and losses under certain conditions.
