摘要

We study numerically the Goos-Hanchen (GH) shift of alight wave transmitted from one-dimensional photonic crys-tals containing a uniaxial indefinite medium. It is found thatthe permittivity and permeability of the indefinite mediumstrongly affect the properties of the GH shift. The (positive ornegative) GH shift is greatly enhanced near the band edge of photonic crystals, the sign of the GH shift in the low- andhigh-frequency edges of the photonic bandgap can be differ-ent. In addition, the properties of the GH shift are alsostrongly dependent on the incident light frequency, incidentangle and the orientation of the optical axis.
