The occurrence of Colletotrichum coccodes in hydroponic grown tomato cultures in Austria and evaluation of yield reduction

Colletotrichum coccodes (Wallr.) S. Hughes causes black root rot on tomato and anthracnose on tomato fruits. It was found on roots of hydroponic grown tomato cultures in Vienna and Lower Austria in the year 2001. Artificially inoculated plants did not show significant yield loss.
