AN EFFICIENT ALGORITHM FOR AUTOMATIC KNOWLEDGE ACQUISITION

This paper presents a new algorithm for extracting IF-THEN rules from examples. The algorithm employs an efficient rule searching method and a simple metric for assessing rule generality and accuracy.
