Parasitoids of L. trifolii on Capsicum annuum were studied in 3 municipalities (Guasave, Ahome and El Fuerte) in Sinaloa, Mexico, from September 2008 to April 2009. Twenty-nine samples were collected weekly during the autumn-winter season. A total of 142 parasitoid specimens were obtained from the 3 plots. The specimens belonged to the following taxa: Opius dissitus (17.0%), Opius sp. (30.9%), Closterocerus cinctipennis (34.5%), Neochrysocharis sp. (17.0%), and a species under Figitidae (0.7%). O. dissitus is a new record for Mexico. The Neochrysocharis sp. was dominant in all plots during the first month, but its incidence decreased to nearly zero after the second week of January.
