Report on State level Cashew Workshop on 'Productivity Enhancement of Senile Cashew Plantations and Home Scale Processing of Cashew apple and nut' held at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Pilicode, Kasaragod on 15.3.2008

One day State level Cashew Workshop on 'Productivity enhancement of senile cashew plantation and home scale processing of cashew apple and nut' was conducted jointly by Kerala Agricultural University, Directorate of Cashew Nut and Cocoa Development, Kochi, and Department of Agriculture, Kerala at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Pilicode, Kasaragod on 15.3.2008. The objective of the Workshop was to create awareness about the importance of extending scientific cashew cultivation and rejuvenation of old and senile plantations in north Kerala, making value added products from cashew apple and home scale processing of apple and nut.
