The effect of various methods of application of Pseudomonas fluorescens (TNAU, Commercial Product) against sheath blight disease of rice was assessed in the greenhouse. Among the commercial formulation treatments, the combination of seed treatment, seedling dip and foliar spray with P fluorescens (CF) afforded the highest disease reduction (75%) over the check treatment by recording the lowest disease intensity (16.57%). All these treatments, however, ranked next to the carbendazim treatment of seeds + foliar spray.
