摘要

A comparative analysis of the operation of two types of electrolyzers used to obtain aluminum, electrolyzers with prebaked anodes and electrolyzers with self-baking anodes, is given with respect to different indicators. Such parameters as the specific consumption of electrical energy and carbon, cost of a unit of output produced, and ecological efficiency are used as the characteristics. It is proposed that modernization at enterprises accompanied by a conversion to baked anodes should be conducted in single-level structures equipped with C-2 and C-3 electrolyzers and in buildings with side current-supply electrolyzers. The most economically efficient way of constructing new capacities is on the base of powerful electrolyzers with baked anodes designed for a strength of current > = 300 kA.
