PLASTOMETRIC INVESTIGATION OF THE LIMITING DUCTILITY AND TORSIONAL STRAIN RESISTANCE OF HYPEREUTECTIC SILUMIN 01390 IN PROCESS OF HELICAL ROLLING OF RODS AND PIPES
The Theological properties of hard-to-work faypereutectic grade 01390 silumin in torsional tests on a plastometer in the range of temperatures of helical rolling at realistic strain rates are investigated. A comparative estimate of the limiting ductility and strain resistance in the stressed state and the actual temperatures and strain rates is given using the torsion-and-tension method. It is shown that it is possible to realize computer simulation of the process of rolling of rods and bottle conversion by means of helical rolling. The results of the computer simulation made it possible to obtain the necessary data for optimization of the process of helical rolling in the fabrication of rods and pipes out of hypereutectic silumins.
