INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF MULTICOMPONENT AIR POLLUTION ON THE HEALTH OF CHILDREN IN THE CITY OF ZHELEZNODOROZHNYI, MOSCOW PROVINCE

摘要

An ecological hygiene assessment of the air above Zheleznodorozhnyi was made. Data on emissions of industrial enterprises and motor vehicles were the basis for calculating the surface concentrations of pollutants by the OND-86 method. The calculation results were used as the initial data for a model of the dependence of the morbidity rate of children with respiratory diseases on the state of the environment. Convergence of the model results with the real levels of the morbidity rate made it possible to predict a change in the morbidity rate as a result of an increase of the volume of industrial production and planning new enterprises.
