摘要

The evolution of requirements imposed on structural aluminum alloys used in the aerospace industry is considered. It is shown that aluminum alloys alloyed with lithium and scandium remain important as extremely promising materials for domestic structures. The development of a second generation of alloys - i.e., alloys that possess a higher complex of specific strength and service life characteristics - and of methods of industrial production for these alloys is needed. Note that these methods should incorporate the specialized modes of fusion, casting, plastic strain, and thermal treatment used to fabricate these alloys. An analysis of a number of fabrication problems that require comprehensive investigation, such as the thermal stability of alloys, the anisotropy of the properties of semimanufactured products, and others is conducted.
